General grade FDA compliant HDPE sheets, matte finish
Cutting board material is made from a special high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. This unique FDA compliant material is specially formulated for the manufacturing of quality thermoplastic cutting boards. Cutting boards from this material are a "long-life" cutting surface specifically designed never to dull knife blades. Cutting boards from HDPE will outlast functionally competitive materials (up to three times longer). In addition these cutting boards are strong and lightweight.
Additional outstanding features of cutting board include an attractive matte finish, acid resistance, odorless, tasteless, will not chip, peel, crack or warp and will wipe clean with a damp cloth. It is non-porous, non-absorbent, stain resistant and always stays white.
